The OP200AZ is a dual precision operational amplifier from Analog Devices in DIP-8 with 600kHz gain-bandwidth product and 0.25V/us slew rate. It uses super-beta input transistors that achieve input bias current of only 2nA (typical) while maintaining low offset voltage of 150uV max. The super-beta process creates NPN transistors with current gain (beta) exceeding 1000, compared to 100-300 in standard bipolar. This dramatically reduces base current without sacrificing offset or drift performance. The offset voltage drift is 0.5uV/C typical, making it suitable for precision DC applications. The 600kHz GBW and 0.25V/us slew rate are modest by modern standards but adequate for low-frequency precision circuits. The device operates from +/-2V to +/-20V supplies with 600uA supply current per amplifier. Common-mode rejection ratio is 114dB minimum, and power supply rejection ratio is 110dB minimum, ensuring excellent DC accuracy in the presence of supply noise. Applications include precision instrumentation, transducer amplifiers, and active filters where DC accuracy and low bias current are paramount.
