The TPS73618DBVR from Texas Instruments is an ultra-low-noise LDO regulator with fixed 1.8V output and 400mA capability. Delivering only 30 µVRMS output noise with 68 dB PSRR at 1kHz, it is designed for noise-sensitive RF, analog, and audio applications. The low 75 mV dropout at full load, combined with only 400 µA quiescent current and an enable pin, makes it ideal for battery-powered portable equipment.

The TPS73618 uses a CMOS LDO architecture with an optimized noise reduction network. A noise reduction capacitor on the NR pin filters the reference voltage, achieving 30 µVRMS output noise. The PMOS pass transistor provides low dropout, while the fast transient response handles load steps. Ceramic output capacitors ensure stability.
