The TPS53319DQ from Texas Instruments is a 14A synchronous buck converter with D-CAP mode for fast transient response without external compensation. Adaptive on-time maintains near-constant frequency. Eco-Mode skips pulses at light loads. 91% peak efficiency at 12V to 1.5V 14A.

D-CAP mode compares VOUT directly against 0.6V reference via comparator, eliminating error amplifier and compensation. Adaptive on-time adjusts based on VIN/VOUT ratio. Eco-Mode skips switching at light load. Integrated bootstrap switch and 5V LDO simplify design.
