The LT1013DDR is a dual precision operational amplifier from Analog Devices (Linear Technology) in SOIC-8, pin-compatible with the industry-standard LM358/LM324 but with significantly improved precision. Input offset voltage is 60uV maximum (vs 3-7mV for LM358), and offset voltage drift is 0.4uV/C. Input bias current is 15nA (vs 45-250nA for LM358). The gain-bandwidth product is 1MHz, and slew rate is 0.4V/us. Unlike the LM358, the LT1013 output swings to within 1.2V of the positive rail (not true rail-to-rail) but includes a PNP input stage that allows the common-mode range to include the negative rail (ground in single-supply operation). The device operates from single 3V to 36V supply or dual +/-1.5V to +/-18V supplies. Supply current is 700uA per amplifier. The LT1013 is a drop-in upgrade for LM358/LM324 in precision applications where offset voltage and drift are critical. Common-mode rejection is 110dB minimum, and power supply rejection is 114dB minimum. Applications include precision instrumentation, transducer amplifiers, and active filters requiring DC accuracy.
