The CAT24C256WI-GT3 from onsemi is a 256-Kb (32K x 8) I2C CMOS serial EEPROM with 64-byte page write buffer. Supporting Standard (100 kHz), Fast (400 kHz), and Fast-Plus (1 MHz) I2C modes, it features on-chip ECC for high reliability, hardware write protection, and Schmitt trigger inputs for noise immunity. The WI-GT3 denotes the SOIC-8 package in tape-and-reel.
