With a maximum drain-source voltage of 60V and continuous drain current rating of 1.2A at 25C ambient, this device bridges the gap between small-signal MOSFETs and larger power MOSFETs in space-constrained designs. The logic-level gate threshold (VGS(th) 1.0V to 3.0V) enables direct drive from 3.3V or 5V microcontroller GPIO pins without additional gate driver circuitry. The low on-resistance of 250mOhm maximum at VGS=10V (350mOhm at 4.5V) minimizes conduction losses in switching applications. A total gate charge of only 3.2nC ensures fast switching transitions with minimal gate drive power, making the device suitable for high-frequency PWM operation up to several hundred kHz.
