The STM32L496VGY6TR is an ultra-low-power ARM Cortex-M4 MCU at 80MHz with 1MB Flash and 320KB SRAM in UFQFPN-100 (7x7mm). The Cortex-M4 core with FPU executes DSP and floating-point instructions in hardware. The adaptive real-time accelerator (ART) provides 0-wait-state execution from Flash at 80MHz via an instruction cache and literal pool cache. The FlexPowerControl domain architecture separates the MCU into voltage domains: VDD (main), VDDIO2 (independent I/O), VDDA (analog), and VBAT (backup). Multiple low-power modes range from Sleep (CPU stopped, peripherals running) to Shutdown (0.5uA, no SRAM retention, fastest wake-up 10us). The 12-bit ADC supports 5MSPS in triple-interleaved mode. USB OTG FS with crystal-less operation reduces BOM count. Chrom-GRC hardware supports circular display rendering.
