The 74LVC14AD from Nexperia is a hex Schmitt-trigger inverter with 1.65-5.5V supply, hysteresis for noise rejection, and over-voltage tolerant inputs in SOIC-14 for signal conditioning and waveform shaping.

The 74LVC14AD contains six independent Schmitt-trigger inverters in a single SOIC-14 package. Each inverter converts a logic level at its input to the complementary logic level at its output. The Schmitt-trigger input structure provides hysteresis with separate positive-going (VT+) and negative-going (VT-) threshold voltages, which eliminates output oscillation on slow-rising or slow-falling input signals and improves noise immunity. The device operates from 1.65V to 5.5V, making it suitable for mixed-voltage systems. Inputs are over-voltage tolerant up to 5.5V regardless of VCC, allowing interfacing between different voltage domains. The LVC (Low-Voltage CMOS) process provides low static power consumption and high-speed propagation (typically 3.5ns at 3.3V).
