It features 512 KB of Flash memory, 96 KB of SRAM, and an extensive peripheral set including 10/100 Ethernet, USB 2.0, and an LCD controller. The LPC1788FBD144 is built around the Arm Cortex-M3 processor core with a 3-stage pipeline and hardware divide. The internal bus matrix connects the CPU to Flash, SRAM, and peripherals through multiple AHB and APB buses. The Ethernet MAC interfaces to an external PHY via MII/RMII. The LCD controller fetches frame data from SRAM or external memory and drives TFT displays directly. The USB controller supports Host, Device, and OTG modes. Power management includes Sleep, Deep-Sleep, Power-Down, and Deep Power-Down modes controlled via the SCR register.
