The LF2012-AR90FAB is an EMI suppression filter chip in a 2012 (0805 metric) surface-mount package. It provides noise attenuation on signal and power lines in compact electronic designs. The LF2012-AR90FAB operates as a passive EMI filter using either ferrite material or LC structure to attenuate unwanted high-frequency noise. Common-mode filters present high impedance to common-mode currents while passing differential signals, while differential-mode filters attenuate noise between lines. The filter’s impedance increases with frequency, blocking high-frequency interference while allowing the desired signal to pass.
