The AZ431BN-ATRE1 from Diodes Incorporated is the B-grade (precision) version of the AZ431 TL431-equivalent programmable shunt voltage reference in a SOT-23-3 package. The B grade provides +/-0.5% initial accuracy with 11mV maximum voltage drift over the industrial temperature range (-40°C to +85°C), offering tighter regulation than the A-grade AZ431AN for applications requiring more precise voltage control. The device is pin-compatible and functionally equivalent to the TI TL431BIDBZR, providing a cost-competitive second-source option. The 2.495V internal reference is programmable to 36V with two external resistors. The 0.3 Ohm dynamic impedance and 1-100mA cathode current range are compatible with standard TL431 application circuits.

Identical to the AZ431AN-ATRE1 and TL431. The B grade provides tighter initial accuracy (+/-0.5% vs +/-1%) and lower temperature drift (11mV vs 14mV max) through additional manufacturing screening. See TL431ACDBZR entry for complete working principle.
