Two composite video inputs and one S-Video input support multiple camera connections. The decoder automatically detects the video standard (NTSC or PAL) and adjusts the processing accordingly. (3) Color Decoder: The chrominance signal is demodulated using the recovered color subcarrier to produce Cb and Cr color difference signals. The subcarrier is regenerated by a digital PLL locked to the color burst. (4) Output Formatter: The Y, Cb, and Cr components are formatted as 8-bit ITU-R BT.656 with embedded SAV (Start of Active Video) and EAV (End of Active Video) timing codes, allowing a single 8-bit data bus to carry both video data and timing.
