RF Connectors

RF Connectors are coaxial connectors specially designed to transmit radio frequency (RF) and microwave signals, with operating frequencies typically ranging from DC to hundreds of GHz. Their core function is to achieve low-loss, high-isolation and high-impedance-matching signal connections between RF circuits, modules, antennas and devices, while providing excellent electromagnetic shielding performance to reduce signal reflection and electromagnetic interference. Common types include SMA, SMB, BNC, N-type, TNC, MCX, MMCX and IPEX (U.FL). They are mainly divided into 50Ω (mainstream for communications and RF testing) and 75Ω (for broadcast television and cable TV) by characteristic impedance, and are widely used in wireless communication base stations, radars, satellites, security systems, consumer electronics and RF test instruments.
