The STM32F030C8T6TR from STMicroelectronics is a cost-effective ARM Cortex-M0 microcontroller with 64 KB Flash and 8 KB SRAM in an LQFP-48 package. The 48 MHz Cortex-M0 core provides 0.95 DMIPS/MHz throughput, suitable for real-time control applications. The 12-bit ADC with 16 channels at 1 Msps supports multi-channel sensor acquisition. Two USARTs, one SPI, and one I2C provide flexible communication options. The advanced control timer (TIM1) supports motor control PWM with complementary outputs and dead-time insertion. The internal 8 MHz RC oscillator (factory-trimmed to +/-1%) eliminates the need for an external crystal in many applications. The TR suffix indicates tape and reel packaging for automated assembly. The STM32F030 is one of the most cost-effective entry points into the STM32 ecosystem.

The STM32F030C8T6TR uses the ARM Cortex-M0 core, a 2-stage pipeline processor optimized for low power and deterministic interrupt handling. The Nested Vectored Interrupt Controller (NVIC) supports up to 32 interrupt channels with 4 priority levels. The 64 KB Flash is organized as 2 KB pages with half-page erase capability. The 8 KB SRAM supports byte, half-word, and word access in zero wait states at 48 MHz. The AHB bus matrix connects the Cortex-M0 core to the Flash, SRAM, and AHB peripherals (DMA, CRC), while the APB bridges connect to the USART, SPI, I2C, timers, and ADC peripherals. The 12-bit ADC uses a successive approximation architecture with a shared sample-and-hold circuit. The internal 8 MHz RC oscillator can be multiplied by the PLL to achieve 48 MHz system clock. The SWD (Serial Wire Debug) interface provides 2-pin debug access with breakpoint and watchpoint support.
