The GRM21BR61E106KA73L is a 0805 MLCC from Murata with 10uF capacitance and 25V rating using X5R dielectric. It provides high bulk decoupling capacitance in a compact 0805 footprint, making it ideal for MCU, FPGA, and LDO power supply stabilization. The low ESR (~10mOhm) and high capacitance effectively suppress both low-frequency and high-frequency power supply noise on 3.3V and 5V rails.

The GRM21BR61E106KA73L uses X5R (Class II) barium titanate-based dielectric to achieve high capacitance density in a small 0805 package. The X5R dielectric provides +/-10% capacitance stability over -55C to +85C, adequate for decoupling and filtering applications. As a Class II dielectric, it exhibits DC bias dependence: the effective capacitance decreases as applied DC voltage increases. At 5V DC bias (typical for 3.3V/5V rails with margin), the capacitance retains approximately 80% of the 10uF nominal value, resulting in ~8uF effective.
