The DAC7760IPWP is a precision 12-bit DAC for industrial process-control with programmable current (4-20mA/0-20mA/0-24mA) and voltage (0-5V/0-10V/+/-5V/+/-10V) outputs that can be enabled simultaneously. It integrates 5V reference (10ppm/C), 4.6V DVDD regulator, and comprehensive diagnostics including CRC, watchdog, thermal alarm, and open/short detection. HART modem compatibility enables digital communication on the current loop. Operates from 10-36V single or +/-18V dual supply.

The DAC7760IPWP converts SPI commands to precision analog outputs. (1) Digital: SPI at 30MHz with CRC-8 error checking. (2) DAC Core: 12-bit resistor-string with +/-3 LSB INL. (3) Voltage Output: Buffered amplifier with programmable slew rate and digital calibration. (4) Current Output: Howland current pump with +/-0.1% TUE; HART signal via AC coupling to ISET-R pin. (5) Diagnostics: Watchdog, thermal alarm, output fault detection via ALARM pin.
