The AS4C16M16SA-6TINTR from Alliance Memory is a 256Mb (16Mx16) SDR SDRAM running at 166MHz with CAS latency 3, in a 54-pin TSOP-II package rated for industrial temperature range -40C to +85C.

The SDRAM uses a synchronous interface where all operations are referenced to the rising edge of the clock signal. Internal banks allow interleaved access to hide precharge latency. The 16-bit wide data bus transfers 2 bytes per clock cycle. At 166MHz CL=3, the first data appears 3 clock cycles after the READ command, with subsequent data flowing every clock cycle during burst transfer. Self refresh mode maintains data integrity during low-power standby.
