The 08051C103KAT4A is a 10nF multilayer ceramic capacitor from KYOCERA AVX with 100V DC rating and X7R dielectric in the 0805 chip package. The X7R dielectric provides excellent capacitance stability of +/-15% over the -55C to +125C temperature range, making it suitable for filtering, coupling, and timing applications requiring stable capacitance at elevated voltages. The 100V rating enables use in higher-voltage circuits not supported by standard 10V/16V capacitors.

The MLCC consists of alternating layers of barium titanate-based ceramic dielectric and nickel electrodes, co-fired into a monolithic chip. The X7R (class II) dielectric provides moderate dielectric constant with good temperature stability (+/-15% from -55 to +125C) compared to Y5V. The 100V voltage rating is achieved through sufficient dielectric layer thickness. The capacitance remains relatively stable under DC bias compared to Y5V dielectrics, making X7R preferred for applications where capacitance value must be predictable.
