The VNI4140KTR is a quad-channel OmniPROM high-side driver from ST in PowerSSO-24. Each channel integrates an N-channel vertical power MOSFET with 700mOhm RDS(on) and 0.7A current capability, controlled through a charge-pump gate driver. The charge pump generates the gate voltage above the VS supply to fully enhance the MOSFET. Each channel provides over-temperature protection (150C junction) with auto-restart and current limitation. The DIAG pins report open-load and over-temperature faults for paired channels. The CS (Current Sense) pin provides an analog voltage proportional to the load current for MCU monitoring. The ST (Standby) pin reduces total supply current to 10uA when all channels are off, critical for automotive battery management. The device supports PWM operation up to 1kHz for lamp dimming and heater control.
