The STD25NF20 is an AEC-Q101 qualified automotive N-channel power MOSFET from STMicroelectronics using STripFET technology. It delivers 200V drain-source voltage, 18A continuous current, and 0.10 ohm typical RDS(on) in a DPAK package. The strip layout process achieves high cell density with low gate charge (28nC typ) and robust avalanche capability (110mJ EAS, 100% tested). dv/dt rating of 15V/ns suits inductive load applications.

STripFET technology uses a single-feature-size strip cell layout that reduces critical alignment steps, improving manufacturing consistency and enabling high cell density for low RDS(on). The strip structure also enhances avalanche ruggedness and gate charge performance. 100% avalanche testing ensures every device withstands inductive turn-off energy. The DPAK tab connects directly to the drain, providing a low thermal resistance path to the PCB copper for efficient heat dissipation.
