The 6 KB true EEPROM with ECC provides reliable non-volatile storage for calibration data and configuration parameters without the wear-leveling complexity of Flash-based EEPROM emulation. The crystal-less USB uses an internal 48 MHz RC oscillator that is automatically calibrated against the USB frame timing (Start-of-Frame packets) to maintain the ±0.25% frequency accuracy required by the USB specification. The ultra-low-power design employs multiple techniques: clock gating for unused peripherals, voltage scaling, and specialized low-power peripherals (LPUART, LPTIM) that can operate in Stop mode while the CPU is sleeping.
