The SP3002-04JTG is a 4-channel ESD protection diode array from Littelfuse in uDFN-10 (2.5×1.0mm), with 0.5pF channel capacitance and 5.5V working voltage. Each channel consists of a steering diode pair (one diode from I/O to VCC, one from I/O to GND) that clamps both positive and negative ESD transients. During normal operation, the diodes are reverse-biased and draw negligible leakage (<1uA). When a positive ESD event exceeds VCC + 0.6V, the upper diode conducts, diverting the ESD current to VCC. When a negative ESD event pulls the I/O below -0.6V, the lower diode conducts, diverting current to GND. The ultra-low 0.5pF capacitance makes the SP3002-04JTG suitable for high-speed signal lines: USB 2.0 High-Speed (480Mbps), HDMI (3.4Gbps per lane), and DisplayPort. At 0.5pF, the signal integrity impact is negligible (the RC time constant with a 50-ohm impedance is 25ps, well below the USB 2.0 bit period of 2ns). The device provides +/-12kV contact and +/-15kV air ESD protection per IEC 61000-4-2. The -04JTG suffix specifies 4 channels, uDFN-10, tape-and-reel. The tiny uDFN-10 package (2.5×1.0mm) allows placement directly at the connector, minimizing stub length. Applications include: USB 2.0 port protection, HDMI/DisplayPort ESD, and general-purpose high-speed signal ESD protection.
