DPA424GN-TL from Power Integrations is a highly integrated DC-DC converter IC for PoE and telecom. 16-75VDC input. 220V MOSFET, PWM control, and protection on one CMOS chip. 300/400kHz selectable. Forward or flyback topology. G package = surface mount DIP.

Working Principle

Integrates 220V power MOSFET, oscillator, PWM controller, 5.8V regulator, and fault protection. C/L pin sets current limit and line UV/OV. Selectable 300/400kHz. Auto-restart on fault. Cycle-skipping at light load for zero-load regulation.
