The TPS62130AQRGTTQ1 from TI is an AEC-Q100 Grade 1 automotive 3A synchronous buck converter with 4-17V input in VQFN-16 (3x3mm). DCS-Control topology provides fast transient response with 17uA quiescent current. Pin-selectable 500kHz or 2.5MHz switching frequency. Features include 100% duty cycle mode, power-save, power good, and comprehensive protection. Qualified for automotive ECU, ADAS, and infotainment power applications.

Uses TI DCS-Control (Direct Control with Seamless transition) topology, a proprietary architecture combining voltage-mode control with a direct feedforward path for fast line transient response. The control loop seamlessly transitions between PWM mode at heavy load and power-save mode (PFM) at light load for high efficiency across the entire load range. At 100% duty cycle, the high-side MOSFET stays on continuously, allowing the output to follow the input minus the RDS(on) drop for lowest dropout operation.
