TPS22810DRVR

The TPS22810DRVR from Texas Instruments is a single-channel load switch in a 6-pin 2x2mm WSON package. It integrates an N-channel MOSFET with 79mOhm typical on-resistance, supporting up to 3A continuous current over a 2.7V to 18V input range. The adjustable rise time via the CT pin limits inrush current when switching into large capacitive loads. The adjustable Quick Output Discharge (QOD) feature provides controlled output discharge. Thermal shutdown and UVLO protect the device and downstream circuitry.

The TPS22810 integrates a power N-channel MOSFET with gate drive and protection circuitry. When EN/UVLO is driven high and VIN exceeds the UVLO threshold, the MOSFET turns on with a controlled slew rate set by the CT pin capacitor, limiting inrush current. When disabled, the MOSFET turns off and the QOD pin can actively discharge VOUT. The thermal shutdown circuit disables the switch when junction temperature exceeds the safe limit.
