The PIC16F1937-I/PT is a Microchip enhanced mid-range 8-bit MCU with 14 KB Flash, 512 B RAM, and 256 B EEPROM. It features a 96-segment LCD driver and integrated mTouch capacitive sensing module, making it ideal for consumer products with display and touch interfaces. The 14-channel 10-bit ADC with voltage reference supports multiple analog inputs. Communication interfaces include MI2C (up to 400 kHz), SPI, and EUSART with auto-baud detection and LIN support. Three Enhanced Capture/Compare/PWM (ECCP) modules and two CCP modules provide flexible motor control and PWM generation. The nanoWatt XLP technology enables ultra-low-power sleep modes for battery-operated applications.

The PIC16F1937 uses Microchips enhanced mid-range core with 49 instructions and 16-level hardware stack, improving code efficiency over the baseline mid-range architecture. The internal 32 MHz oscillator eliminates external clock components. The LCD driver module directly drives up to 96 segments using configurable segment and common outputs, supporting static, 2-mux, 3-mux, and 4-mux LCD configurations. The mTouch capacitive sensing module uses a charge-hold methodology to detect finger presence on PCB copper pads without external components. The ADC performs 10-bit successive approximation conversion with programmable acquisition time and supports scan mode for multiple channels.

44-pin TQFP with 36 GPIO: Port A (RA0-RA7 with ADC/refs), Port B (RB0-RB7 with ICSP/interrupts/LCD), Port C (RC0-RC7 with SPI/I2C/UART/PWM), Port D (RD0-RD7 with LCD segments), Port E (RE0-RE3 with LCD/mTouch), plus MCLR, VDD/VSS (multiple), VDDIO, AVDD/AVSS.
