The NCP301HSN22T1G is a voltage detector with 2.2V threshold and open-drain output in TSOP-5. The internal circuit compares the VIN pin voltage against a precision bandgap reference trimmed to 2.2V. When VIN drops below 2.2V, the open-drain output transistor turns on, pulling OUT low. When VIN rises above 2.2V plus hysteresis (typically 50mV), the output transistor releases and OUT goes high-impedance. The CD pin allows connection of an external capacitor to delay the detection output, preventing false triggering during transient voltage dips. The device consumes only 0.5uA typical supply current, making it suitable for always-on battery monitoring. The open-drain output permits wired-OR connection of multiple detectors to a single microcontroller interrupt pin.
