The MPQ8633BGLE-Z is a Monolithic Power Systems (MPS) 16V, 20A fully integrated synchronous step-down converter with adjustable current limit, configurable frequency, and voltage tracking. It adopts internally compensated constant-on-time (COT) control to provide fast transient response and ease loop stabilization. The switching frequency can be set to 600kHz, 800kHz, or 1000kHz via MODE configuration. Available in a QFN-21 (3mm x 4mm) package.

The MPQ8633BGLE-Z is a Monolithic Power Systems fully integrated, high-frequency synchronous buck converter capable of delivering up to 20A output current. It features a wide input voltage range of 4V to 16V, configurable switching frequency (600/800/1000kHz), and adaptive COT control for ultrafast transient response. The device includes differential remote sense, programmable current limit, output voltage tracking, and comprehensive protection features. Available in a compact QFN-21 (3mm x 4mm) package, it is ideal for server, telecom, and POL power applications.

The MPQ8633BGLE-Z operates using an internally compensated constant-on-time (COT) control scheme. The high-side MOSFET turns on for a fixed on-time when the output voltage drops below the reference, then turns off and the low-side synchronous MOSFET conducts the inductor current. The adaptive COT adjusts the on-time based on input and output voltage to maintain relatively constant switching frequency. The MODE pin selects between 600kHz, 800kHz, or 1000kHz operation, and between pulse-skip mode (PSM) for light-load efficiency or forced continuous conduction mode (FCCM). Over-current protection uses valley current sensing with hiccup mode after consecutive fault cycles. The differential remote sense compensates for PCB trace resistance to maintain accurate output voltage at the load point.
