The M0516LDN from Nuvoton Technology is a 32-bit ARM Cortex-M0 microcontroller offering 50MHz operation with 64KB Flash, 4KB SRAM, and 4KB Data Flash in an LQFP-48 package. The device features a high-precision internal 22.1184MHz RC oscillator with 1% accuracy, eliminating the need for external crystals in many applications. With dual SPI, I2C, and UART interfaces, 8-channel 12-bit ADC, and 8-channel PWM, it provides comprehensive peripheral support for industrial and consumer applications. The M0516LDN is based on the ARM Cortex-M0 processor core connected to peripherals through an AHB/APB bus bridge. The CPU executes instructions from 64KB Flash with access to 4KB SRAM for data. A built-in PLL can boost the internal 22.1184MHz oscillator to 50MHz for maximum performance. The 12-bit SAR ADC samples analog inputs at up to 760kSPS, triggered by PWM outputs for synchronized control loops. Four analog comparators provide fast response for protection circuits. The Data Flash area serves as non-volatile storage for configuration parameters without external EEPROM.
