The LTC2991CMS#TRPBF is an 8-channel I2C system monitor from Analog Devices capable of measuring voltage, current, and temperature across 8 single-ended or 4 differential inputs. With 14-bit ADC resolution, +/-0.5% voltage accuracy, and +/-1C internal temperature accuracy, it provides comprehensive system health monitoring. The I2C interface enables easy integration with system management controllers in server, telecom, and industrial applications.

The LTC2991 uses a 14-bit plus sign Delta-Sigma ADC that is multiplexed across 8 analog input channels. Each channel can be configured for single-ended voltage measurement, differential voltage measurement, or remote diode temperature measurement. An internal temperature sensor provides die temperature monitoring. The I2C interface allows configuration of measurement modes, channel selection, and conversion rate, and provides readout of measurement results. The device can be programmed to continuously scan all enabled channels or perform single conversions on demand.
