The LTC1928ES6-5#TRPBF is a doubler charge pump with an integrated low-noise LDO linear regulator from Analog Devices (formerly Linear Technology). It converts a 2.7V to 4.4V input to a regulated 5V output at up to 30mA, with only 90uV RMS output noise. Packaged in a 6-lead TSOT-23, it is ideal for powering noise-sensitive devices such as VCOs and RF circuits.

The LTC1928ES6-5#TRPBF is a doubler charge pump with an integrated low-noise LDO regulator from Analog Devices. It converts a 2.7V to 4.4V input to a regulated 5V output at up to 30mA with only 90uV RMS output noise, making it ideal for powering noise-sensitive RF circuits. The charge pump topology eliminates the need for inductors, resulting in a compact and simple PCB layout. The device requires only 2uF ceramic capacitors for stability and operation.

The LTC1928-5 operates in two stages: first, an internal charge pump doubles the input voltage using two external capacitors (C1 and C2) in a voltage-doubler configuration. The boosted voltage is then regulated down to a clean 5V by the internal low-noise LDO. The 550kHz switching frequency allows the use of small-value ceramic capacitors. During shutdown, the output is discharged to ground through a 200-ohm switch, and the input current drops to 4uA.
