The LP2951ACD-3.3/NOPB from Texas Instruments is the SOIC-8 package version of the fixed 3.3V LP2951AC LDO regulator. Compared to the VSSOP-8 version (LP2951ACMX-3.3), this device uses the wider SOIC-8 package which is easier to handle in manual assembly and rework. The device provides a precisely regulated 3.3V output at up to 100mA with only 380mV dropout. The AC grade provides +/-1% output accuracy at 25°C. The error flag output indicates when the output drops below approximately 92% of nominal (3.04V), providing early power-fail warning. The shutdown pin reduces quiescent current to near zero. The /NOPB suffix indicates non-braided tape and reel packaging.

Identical to the LP2951ACMX-3.3/NOPB. The D suffix denotes the SOIC-8 package, which is wider and easier to solder than the VSSOP-8. All electrical operation is the same. See LP2951ACMX-3.3 entry for working principle.
