The KSZ8041NLTR from Microchip is a 10/100 Ethernet PHY transceiver with MII/RMII interface, HP Auto MDI/MDI-X, integrated 1.8V regulator, and <180mW power consumption in a 32-pin QFN package.

The KSZ8041NLTR implements the physical layer of the IEEE 802.3u standard. On the transmit side, parallel data from the MAC (via MII or RMII) is encoded using 4B/5B coding for 100BASE-TX or Manchester encoding for 10BASE-T, then scrambled and converted to MLT-3 signaling for output over twisted-pair cable. On the receive side, the incoming analog signal is equalized, decoded, and converted back to parallel data for the MAC. HP Auto MDI/MDI-X automatically detects and corrects crossover cable wiring. The MIIM interface allows the host to configure PHY registers.
