The JY21L is a subminiature electromagnetic relay designed for signal switching and control circuit isolation in telecom, datacom, and low-power relay applications.

When current flows through the relay coil, the resulting magnetic field attracts the armature, which mechanically moves the contacts from one position to another. This provides electrical isolation between the control circuit (coil) and the switched circuit (contacts). When coil current is removed, a spring returns the armature and contacts to their resting position.
