The JPS-3-1W+ is a Mini-Circuits 3-way 0-degree power splitter/combiner covering 50 to 750MHz in an SMD-6P surface-mount package (BH292 case). The 3-way configuration divides an input signal into three equal-amplitude, equal-phase outputs. The 0.4dB typical insertion loss above the theoretical 4.8dB split loss indicates very low dissipative loss. The 23dB typical isolation prevents interaction between connected subsystems. The 1W maximum input power rating suits moderate-power transmit applications. The core-and-wire construction achieves the wide 50-750MHz bandwidth. The -1W suffix indicates the wideband version. The + suffix indicates RoHS compliance.

The JPS-3-1W+ uses a core-and-wire transformer architecture for 3-way power splitting. The input feeds a transformer network creating three equal-amplitude, in-phase outputs through carefully designed winding ratios. Ferrite core transformers provide wideband 50-750MHz operation. Isolation between output ports is achieved by internal resistor networks absorbing reflected power. The 0 deg phase relationship is maintained by symmetric winding construction. The 3-way split introduces 4.77dB theoretical splitting loss, with additional 0.4dB due to core and copper losses.
