The IS62WV5128BLL-55T2LIT is an asynchronous static RAM that uses a six-transistor (6T) CMOS memory cell array. Each memory cell consists of two cross-coupled inverters and two access transistors, forming a bistable latch that stores one bit of data without requiring periodic refresh. Address inputs are decoded by row and column decoders to select the target memory cell. When Chip Enable (CE1) is active low and CE2 is active high, and Output Enable (OE) is asserted, the selected byte is driven onto the data I/O pins through the sense amplifiers and output buffers. Write Enable (WE) controls the write operation, where data on the I/O pins is written to the selected address. The 55ns access time is achieved through optimized decoder paths and fast sense amplifier design. Low-power standby mode is entered when the chip is deselected.
