The DAM1590E2NO is a 15-position D-Sub receptacle connector from the DM/DAM series with standard density A-size shell, female socket contacts, and solder cup termination for RS-232 and industrial communication interfaces.

The D-Sub connector provides a D-shaped metal shell that ensures correct orientation during mating and provides EMI shielding. The 15 female socket contacts are arranged in two rows (8+7) and mate with male pin contacts. Screw lock hardware (4-40 UNC jackscrews) on both sides of the connector ensures a secure mechanical connection that prevents accidental disconnection. The solder cup termination allows reliable wire-to-board or cable-to-connector attachment.
