The TDK C2012X5R1E106K125AB is a 10uF 25V X5R MLCC in 0805 package with ±10% tolerance. The 25V rating provides adequate voltage margin for 5V and 12V power rails, while the X5R dielectric enables 10uF in the compact 0805 footprint. It is an excellent bulk decoupling capacitor for DC-DC converter output filtering and LDO stabilization.

The C2012X5R1E106K125AB uses TDK’s thin-layer MLCC technology with X5R dielectric. The X5R formulation provides higher capacitance density than X7R at the cost of a narrower temperature range (-55°C to +85°C). The ±10% tolerance is tighter than the typical ±20% for 10uF MLCCs, providing more predictable filter performance. The 25V rating ensures stable capacitance when used on 5V or 12V rails with sufficient DC bias margin.
