The BQ27441YZFR-G1A from Texas Instruments is a Fuel gauge, I2C, CSP-9 in a CSP-9 package. It provides a complete battery management solution with accurate capacity reporting and impedance tracking for portable and USB-powered applications.

The fuel gauge uses impedance tracking to measure battery impedance in real-time. Combined with voltage and current measurements, it calculates state-of-charge (SOC), state-of-health (SOH), and time-to-empty. The algorithm adapts to battery aging over the product lifetime.
