The BFCN-1801+ is a Mini-Circuits LTCC bandpass filter covering 1400 to 2320MHz in a miniature 3.2mm x 1.6mm ceramic package. The LTCC multi-layer construction achieves excellent performance repeatability and reliability, with wrap-around terminations that minimize performance variations due to solder parasitics. The wide passband covers LTE Band 1 (1920-2170MHz) and Band 3 (1710-1885MHz). The high stopband rejection prevents out-of-band interference, with rejection peaks close to the passband. The LTCC construction eliminates regrowth at 2nd and 3rd harmonics. The + suffix indicates RoHS compliance.

The BFCN-1801+ uses LTCC multi-layer ceramic technology to implement coupled resonator bandpass filter structures. Multiple ceramic dielectric layers are co-fired with internal metal patterns forming coupled resonators implemented as embedded strip-line elements. The bandpass response is created by coupling between resonators tuned to 1400-2320MHz. The coupling coefficient determines bandwidth while the number of resonators determines selectivity. The wrap-around terminations connect internal ground planes to external solder pads, minimizing parasitics.
