The BC118 from Laird Connectivity is a pre-certified Bluetooth 5.0 BLE module with integrated antenna, UART/SPI host interface, and 1.5uA sleep current for quick IoT wireless integration.

The BC118 integrates a BLE 5.0 radio transceiver, baseband processor, and protocol stack in a single module. The host MCU sends commands over UART or SPI to configure the module, establish connections, and exchange data via GATT services. The integrated PCB antenna radiates the 2.4GHz BLE signal.
