The Diodes Inc AZ431AN-ATRE1 is a programmable precision shunt voltage reference in SOT-23-3 package, compatible with the industry-standard TL431. With ±0.5% initial accuracy and 8ppm/°C temperature stability, it provides a cost-effective precision reference for switch-mode power supply feedback networks, voltage monitoring circuits, and adjustable shunt regulation.

The AZ431AN-ATRE1 is a three-terminal shunt regulator with an internal 2.495V bandgap reference and error amplifier. When the reference input (REF) voltage exceeds 2.495V, the cathode current increases, pulling the output toward the anode. By connecting the REF pin to a resistor divider from the cathode, the output voltage can be programmed from 2.495V to 36V. The ±0.5% accuracy and 8ppm/°C stability ensure precise voltage regulation over temperature.
