The ATSHA204A-STUCZ-T from Microchip Technology (formerly Atmel) is a cryptographic authentication IC implementing SHA-256 hash-based challenge-response authentication. It contains 4.5Kbit of EEPROM for key storage (16 slots), a 72-bit unique serial number, and an internal high-quality RNG. The STUCZ package variant provides Single-Wire and I2C interfaces in an 8-UDFN (2x3mm) package.
