The AP2112K-3.3TRG1 from Diodes Incorporated is a 600mA LDO, 3.3V, 250mV dropout, SOT-23-5 in a SOT-23-5 package. It provides regulated power output for consumer and industrial applications.

The LDO uses a PMOS pass element controlled by an error amplifier. The amplifier compares the output voltage with an internal bandgap reference. The low dropout is achieved by the PMOS topology which requires only Vds(sat) headroom rather than Vbe + Vds(sat) like NPN-based LDOs.
