The ADUM241D1BRWZ-RL from Analog Devices is a quad-channel iCoupler digital isolator with 5000Vrms isolation, 150Mbps data rate, and default high output in a wide-body SOIC-16 package rated for -40C to +125C.

The ADUM241D1 uses Analog Devices iCoupler technology, which integrates microscale transformer coils on a silicon chip separated by polyimide insulation layers. Digital signals are transferred across the isolation barrier by pulsing current through the primary coil and detecting the induced voltage on the secondary coil. This transformer-based approach provides superior reliability compared to optocouplers, with no LED aging degradation and orders of magnitude better CMTI performance.
