The ADR02AUJZ-REEL7 from Analog Devices is an ultrahigh precision 5.0 V series voltage reference in SOT-23-3. The A grade offers +/-0.05% initial accuracy with 3 ppm/C typical temperature coefficient. Operating from 7-36 V with only 0.5 mA max quiescent current, it features 3 uV p-p noise in 0.1-10 Hz band and 25 ppm/1000 hours long-term stability. Can source 10 mA and sink 5 mA.

The ADR02 uses a buried Zener reference topology. (1) Buried Zener: The breakdown junction is beneath the silicon surface, away from defects that cause noise and drift. The voltage is laser-trimmed to +/-0.05%. (2) Temperature Compensation: Diode network compensates the positive tempco of the Zener, achieving 3 ppm/C. (3) Error Amplifier: Buffers the Zener reference and drives the output with 0.05 Ohm output impedance. (4) Supply Regulation: 7 ppm/V typical line regulation from 7-36 V.
