The ADG2128BCPZ-HS-RL7 is an Analog Devices iCMOS 12-channel single-pole single-throw (SPST) analog switch array in a compact 24-lead LFCSP package. Each of the 12 switches can be independently controlled through a 3-bit parallel decode interface, enabling flexible signal routing in multi-channel systems. The iCMOS process allows operation from +/-15V dual supplies or 12V single supply, providing wide analog signal range. The 120 ohm typical on-resistance and low on-resistance flatness ensure minimal signal distortion. The -HS (high-speed) version features reduced switching times for faster channel settling. Low charge injection minimizes offset errors in sampled-data systems. The LFCSP package with exposed pad provides excellent thermal performance. Rated for -40C to +85C.

The ADG2128 contains 12 independently controlled CMOS transmission gates (TG), each consisting of parallel NMOS and PMOS transistors. When a switch is enabled, both transistors conduct, providing a low-impedance path (120 ohm) between the source and drain terminals. The parallel NMOS/PMOS structure ensures rail-to-rail signal capability and minimizes on-resistance variation across the signal range. The 3-bit decode logic allows address-based switch selection, reducing the number of control pins needed. When disabled, the transmission gate is open, presenting a high impedance with only picoampere leakage currents. Break-before-make logic prevents momentary short circuits during channel transitions. Charge injection occurs during switching due to capacitive coupling from the gate to the channel; the iCMOS process minimizes this effect.

24-lead LFCSP with 12 switch pairs (S1/D1 through S12/D12), VDD, VSS, GND, 3 address decode lines (A0-A2), WR (write), CS (chip select), and exposed thermal pad. Refer to datasheet for complete 24-pin LFCSP ball map.
