TPS2412DR from TI is an ORing FET controller for N-channel MOSFETs in redundant power supply systems. 1-16V bus, fast turn-off on reverse current. SOIC-8.
Working Principle
Controls external N-channel MOSFET to replace ORing diodes with lower loss. Monitors voltage differential across MOSFET. Turns off MOSFET within 300ns when reverse current detected (TPS2412 = fast turn-off). Adjustable reverse current threshold. Supports diode ORing and active ORing modes.
