Each of the four independent buffer gates has an active-low output enable (OE) that places the output in a high-impedance state when asserted, enabling multiple devices to share a common bus. The device operates from a wide 2V to 6V supply range, making it suitable for both 3.3V and 5V systems. With +/-7.8mA output drive capability at 5V and propagation delay of 11ns at 6V, it provides fast, reliable signal buffering. Input clamp diodes protect against overshoot. The SN74HC125PWR operates as four independent non-inverting buffers with 3-state output control.
