The LTM4675EY#PBF is a dual 4A DC-DC micro-module (uModule) regulator from Analog Devices in BGA-25×27 package, operating from 4.5V to 16V input with output from 0.6V to 5.5V. The uModule integrates the switching controller, power MOSFETs, inductor, and all supporting components in a single 15x15x5.01mm BGA package, requiring only external input/output capacitors and a few configuration resistors. The dual-channel architecture provides two independent step-down regulators, each capable of 4A output. The two channels can be paralleled for 8A single-output operation using the SHARE pin for current sharing. The LTM4675 includes a digital I2C interface for real-time monitoring and configuration: output voltage, current, temperature, and fault status can be read back via I2C. The output voltage is set by an external resistor divider on the VFB pin, or programmed via I2C commands to the internal EEPROM. The switching frequency is programmable from 300kHz to 3MHz via external resistor or I2C, and can be synchronized to an external clock via the CLK pin. The device includes output over-voltage protection (crowbar), over-current protection with auto-retry, and over-temperature shutdown at 155C. The internal LDO generates 3.3V (INTVCC) for the MOSFET gate drivers. The peak current-mode control with internal compensation achieves fast transient response. The #PBF suffix specifies lead-free RoHS compliant.
